Megan Odland is a singer, actor and educator from New York. She is currently Philadelphia-based as an Eastern University graduating senior who will soon hold her Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Bachelors of Science in Music Education (K-12). 

 

Megan’s most recent accomplishments in the performing arts include being the first student director of a mainstage production at Eastern University that resulted in an-award winning production that opened the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region II ceremony this January 2024, premiering her original musical Fight in the 2023 Philadelphia Fringe Festival, and working with professional theatre companies in Philadelphia as a Production Assistant and Teaching Artist, including The Kimmel Center for The Performing Arts and Esperanza Arts Center.

 

Megan is a mezzo-soprano who has a primary background in classical, choir and musical theatre singing. However, she is excited to teach students of all genres and experience levels! She believes that the most effective teaching encourages risk-taking, creativity and a growth-mindset.

 

As a trained vocalist, Megan is an advocate for vocal health and proper technique. Her goal is to foster confidence in all of her student’s as they embrace what makes their voice unique. She not only looks forward to being a strong and encouraging role model for young singers, but she is excited to bring about a fresh-energy for learners of all ages and experiences!
