Kylah Z. Benson is a professional vocal instructor and singer/songwriter with over 10 years of experience. She started playing the piano at 7 years old and has been singing her entire life. Kylah graduated from The Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, where she was classically trained, and holds a Bachelor's degree from Temple University in Jazz Studies/Vocal Jazz Performance. She has directed numerous choirs and small ensembles, is currently the youth choir director for Star of Hope Baptist Church, and has performed at several other venues in the city of Philadelphia. While she enjoys teaching all styles, she has a strong love of Pop, R&B, and gospel music.

Kylah has a genuine passion for working with students of all ages, finding ways to expand their knowledge and developmental stages in every area, music especially. She believes there is no greater joy than to help people, and her goal is to use her position with Voice by Chelsea as a platform to do just that!
