Carolina Campero is a versatile, fun, and honest teacher who is dedicated to helping her students develop a love and understanding of music; all while passing along all of her fundamental knowledge in order to help them on their musical journey. She has a comprehensive background and training in Piano, Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, and General Music.  She makes sure she teaches all her students proper technique to maintain a healthy voice.  Whether you're a beginner, advanced, or have a short term issue, she can handle it all.

Carolina also focuses on teaching students how to practice at home. She believes every person has their own learning style and practicing style that works best for them. This is a huge part of her students success in lessons that really helps them get motivated and get the results they want. Because of this, her lessons are uniquely hand tailored to each student to make sure they get the most out of her lessons. Through this, she hopes all of her students get to experience more of the fun and power of music!

Carolina trained at the Aaron Copland School of Music for Vocal Performance and the Frank Sinatra School of Arts where she specialized in Voice and Musical Theatre. She was also involved in the Carnegie Musical Exchange while in school where she had the opportunity to write and perform compositions at Carnegie Hall. Carolina was also in MasterVoices (formerly known as the Collegiate Chorale) for several years, traveling with them on scholarship in 2014 to Switzerland to the Verbier Music Festival to perform.

 

She is an active NYC performer and has performed in various venues across NYC including Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall in Lincoln Center, and the LeFrak Concert Hall. Some of her performance credits include Marianne in Tartuffe, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro, Wendy in Peter Pan, Mary Lou in Cowgirls, Ronette in Little Shop of Horrors and Diane in Sealed for Freshness.
