In this Masterclass, we will break down the basics of music notation- pitch, rhythm, key signatures, time signatures, scales, chords and more! This course will give you a great musical foundation, and the skills to feel more comfortable the next time you approach sheet music.Â

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER...

Melissa LaCicero is a vocalist, passionate performer and experienced vocal instructor based out of Tampa, Florida. Melissa holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from the University of South Florida, where she had the honor of singing with the Florida Orchestra and Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. She has also had the privilege of sharing a stage with Broadway’s Kristin Chenoweth and Quentin Darrington. For the past 9 years, Melissa was a vocalist, dancer, and actress at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, as well as a production assistant for several events and shows, and the vocal trainer and captain for many productions. Melissa is proud to have been Busch Gardens’ representative for Outstanding Female Performer for the IAAPA Brass Ring Awards in 2015.
