Associate Voice Teacher
Maggie Rhodes is a passionate actor, singer, and performance teacher. She holds a BA from Baldwin Wallace University and an MFA in Acting from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK. She has worked professionally on NYC stages, Regional theatres, and sings regularly in solo concerts across the midwest. She has experience teaching for Cleveland Public Theatre and has directed and coached performers from 5 years old, to college students, to professional actors.
She had the privilege of working with UK industry greats such as Lynn Farleigh and Kristen Linklater as well as being individually coached by Jeremy Sams as a finalist for the Student Sondheim Competition in London. Maggie has had the pleasure of performing, being taught, and had direction from performers such as Jen Waldman, Jessica Grove, Andrew Byrne, Dan Cooney, and Drew Wutke.
Although being largely classically trained, Maggie has a true love for rock, pop, and folk songs she can belt to. She is so excited to help students at Voice by Chelsea with belting, mixing, acting through song, singing with an instrument, and using their whole physical body to sing. Her goal is to offer a safe and welcoming environment where students can feel like they can come as they are, level up their abilities, and explore their artistry to their fullest potential.
