ARLENE
Associate Voice Teacher

Arlene is an active performer in the Altoona-Johnstown, Pennsylvania area. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and is the current voice and choir professor at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania.
Arlene studied extensively under Bass-Baritone Dr. Joseph Baunoch at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she obtained both her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2017 and Master of Arts in Vocal Performance in 2019. During her time at IUP, Arlene performed across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and internationally in Vienna, Austria and Prague, Czech Republic with the IUP Chorale. Arlene has performed in Rome and Orvieto, Italy with Operafest di Roma.
She was a featured soloist with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. Performance credits include The Barber of Seville (Rosina), Don Giovanni, Suor Angelica (Suor Zelatrice), Die Fledermaus (Ida), The Magic Flute (The Third Lady), and The Pajama Game (Shirley). Arlene has taught voice lessons for over five years to all ages, and her students have performed in various productions, honor choirs, and competitions.
