Associate Voice Teacher
Anthony DeLuco holds a B.S. in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University. His formal training is from classical and musical theater professionals at WCSU, and he has performed in scenes/roles from Don Giovanni as Don Giovanni and Le Nozze di Figaro as Count Almaviva.
He also has performed as Papageno in Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Belcore in Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love in WCSU’s main-stage productions. In the spring of 2020, Anthony was offered the opportunity to perform at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in NYC with the WCSU Choir and Symphonic Band.
Anthony has also participated in the CT National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition several times and has placed 1st at the state level (2018), 1st in the Northeastern division (2018, 2020), and has advanced to the National competition in the spring of 2020. He is also the recipient of the James Sommers Opera Scholarship and the James Furman Scholarship.
Anthony has plenty of experience and training to provide outstanding instruction in various genres and voice types. He is very excited to be a member of VBC!
